— Utilizing Used Cooking Oil Collected at Chiba Factory —

Shinpo Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has signed a basic agreement with ENEOS
Corporation (Headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “ENEOS”) and Yoshikawa Oil Co., Ltd.
(Headquartered in Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture, hereinafter “Yoshikawa Oil”) on initiatives to utilize

Under this initiative, a system will be established to recycle used cooking oil collected from the Chiba
factory into SAF. The used cooking oil at the factory will be collected by Yoshikawa Oil and is planned to
be used in the future as a raw material at ENEOS’s SAF manufacturing plant (Wakayama Manufacturing
Plant). *2

Our company supports ENEOS’s initiatives to establish an integrated system for SAF from raw material
procurement to in-house production and sales, and through cooperation in utilizing domestically unused
used cooking oil, we will promote the realization of a decarbonized and circular society.

*1) SAF: “Sustainable Aviation Fuel.” SAF is produced mainly from used cooking oil, biomass, municipal waste with consideration for
the global environment.

*2) ENEOS’s SAF manufacturing plant: Arida City, Wakayama Prefecture, capacity: 400,000 kiloliters/year).
